"Tinquerie" is the undergraduate thesis written, directed, shot and produced by
Sandra Dans.
She graduated from the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts in April 2010, and this project was exhibited that same year at the Rockwell Powerplant Mall alongside the work of the other graduates at the UP CFA annual thesis exhibit. The project recieved a citation for Production Effort and Quality of Work.
The accompanying paper was entitled "Using Human Nonverbal Behavior In Depicting a Fictional Narrative Through Monochromatic Images In A Sequential Photographic Series". Her research proposal was awarded one of the 30 annual grants her college provides, and was exhibited in 2010 alongside the work of the other grantees.
Sandra Dans is based in Quezon City, Metro Manila. She lives with her family and their poodle named Samwise. She is pretty darned happy.
