Hello! My name is Sandra Dans, and I’m a photographer specializing in controlled lighting and portrait photography. I’ve been photographing since 2001. I was photographing for cosplay in 2006, then documenting weddings after I graduated from college, but soon moved on to other commercial and artistic pursuits.
These days I primarily shoot food and interiors and other controlled light setups for commercial use, as you might find in this portfolio. I also tend to prefer photography as an artistic medium, and you’ll find that scattered around this site as well. For more of my personal photographic exploits, you can check out my blog at this link.
I graduated with a BFA in Visual Communication from the College of Fine Arts at UP Diliman, and an MFA in Photography from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Alongside my photographic pursuits, i also work as a graphic designer for a very small studio called Baby Supergiant, and as a photography teacher at a local highschool. If you have any other inquiries about my qualifications, you can check me out on LinkedIn or reach me at smfdans at gmail dot com.
